The holidays are just around the corner and businesses are already hiring for seasonal work. Kirsten Davis with the Better Business Bureau of Eastern Washington says start early, look at multiple industries, be flexible and be smart in protecting your information. She says scammers post fake job postings on the internet and use them as a phishing scam. You fill out an application and they steal your personal information. "So anytime you see a job from a desirable company or something that seems to good to be true you want to go to that companies website to make sure the job is official."
She says just be smart when looking for a job this holiday season.
According to the National Retail Federation holiday sales increased three percent last year to $626.1 billion. So the BBB says there's lots of cash to be gained out there for your holiday work.
