A 60-year-old man arrested this week in the 1997 shooting death of his wife is expected to face a charge of first-degree murder when he appears in a Yakima County Superior Court room on Friday.

Yakima County Sheriff's Detective Sgt. Mike Russell tells KIT News, "Two of our Yakima County Detectives have traveled to Idaho and picked him up. He's been booked into the Yakima County Jail."

Barrett Bailey was arrested Wednesday in Idaho on a warrant after years of investigating the case. Deborah Bailey was 32 years old when she was found in a car near Naches on Feb. 16, 1997.

Russell says the case was re-opened after help from investigators with the TNT series "Cold Justice," which looks at unsolved murders. The "Cold Justice" episode titled "Miss Congeniality" is scheduled to air Friday night.
