BELLOWS FALLS, Vt. (AP) — Some Vermont chefs are in for a grilling. The owner of the Shona Grill, Kim Bovill, will attempt to set a new Guinness record for the longest duration barbecue. She and grillmasters Nick Moll and Dennis Kobel will begin barbecuing at 10 a.m. on July 31 and plan to continue for 36 hours straight. The Brattleboro Reformer reports the current record is 30 hours. Bovill says a former employee came up with the idea and she thought it would be fun. They'll be grilling up burgers and hot dogs, in addition to having pig and turkey roasts.
