Ballots are on the way.
The November 6 General Election is approaching. Yakima County Auditor Charles Ross says his office has sent out 115,500 ballots for the upcoming election. He says there's some new voters in the system. Ross says about 3,300 people signed up to be new voters with a majority registering three days before the registration deadline of October 8. Ross can't say whether they are republicans or democrats but he calls it significant. He says it's a sign that people are motivated to vote in the upcoming midterm election. Ross says he expects a 65 percent turnout for the November 6 General Election.
