Ballots for levies and bonds affecting area school districts are due next Tuesday.

This election mainly focuses on Yakima County and includes anything from improving classrooms to making energy efficient upgrades in schools. Voters are also deciding on adding or renewing maintenance levies at schools in our areas.

The school districts are asking for relief to help with class size, extra-curricular activities, school staff, libraries, curriculum and teaching materials and after school programs.

Ballots are due on Feb. 11 and can be dropped off at the auditor's office or mailed in.
