Ballot counts continue Today and every afternoon in the Yakima County Auditors office until the primary election is certified on August 15. Yakima County Auditor Charles Ross however tells KIT News "I think the trends we saw come out of election night will hold true. I don't see any changes coming."
He says it's likely votes will follow the same trend as they did on election night. Ross says turnout was low as expected at about 23 percent. And Ross says he doesn't expect a much larger turnout for the November 7 general election. He's predicting of high of 25 to 30 percent.
