Back to school means back to class work, sporting events, social activities and for some, bullying.  The problem is large enough and serious enough to force more than 160,000 U.S. children to miss school every day out of fear of being bullied.

Some states have it worse than others according to analysis conducted by the personal-finance website WalletHub .  Data limitations kept Washington and Oregon out of the comparisons of 17 key metrics, ranging from “bullying-incident rate” to “truancy costs for schools” to “percentage of high school students bullied online.”  The full results can be found here -    https://wallethub.com/edu/best-worst-states-at-controlling-bullying/9920/
