I grew up in Gig Harbor, often breaking my parents' sleeping rules by listening to Mariners games with one ear on the hallway and one ear on the game. It instilled in me a passion to be a storyteller in radio. I even recorded my own radio show as a kid with a record player and a handheld cassette tape recorder. I think it was mostly Beach Boys and Beatles music. Anyway, I worked at ESPN for nearly 10 years and decided I wanted to pursue my passion for radio and am at the very beginning of my career. I hope. I'm an avid golfer whose desire to play far outstrips my resources to play. I'm an unabashed Seattle sports fan who roots for the M's, Hawks, Dawgs, etc. Anything Seattle. (BRING BACK THE SONICS!) I love escapist movies in which a seemingly normal, quiet person is brought forth to greatness.
