Last night my wife and her mom (Special K) teamed up to help work on Kate’s Halloween costume. This year she’s nearly six and her choice is a “special” kind of ghost outfit -with grandma’s loving touch- so it will no doubt scare up a bunch of treats! Speaking of scare, the money we spend on the scaring up a little spooky fun is frightening.
The 2014 General Election is a week away and NewsTalk KIT will continue to bring you information and interviews on local candidates right up until November 4th. The Yakima County Auditor expects about a 62% turnout—matching the statewide expectation for the mid-term-- but Yakima’s primary election turnout at around 31% was the lowest in the state.

They say babies born in the summer are much more likely to suffer from mood swings when they grow up while those born in the winter are less likely to become irritable adults. Hmmmm, I was born in August…WHAT DO THEY KNOW!!! $#%@^
Earlier this week on the Morning News we talked about an upcoming Alzheimer’s disease summit with training for family caregivers and professionals.
