Also it's been one week since Congressman Doc Hastings announced that he is not seeking an 11th term in Congress. In the last week four high profile Republicans have entered the race to succeed Hastings.  Eltopia farmer and former NFL star Clint Didier, Franklin County Commissioner Brad Peck, State Senator Janae' Holmquist Newbry, and former State Agriculture Director Dan Newhouse.  Ephrata businessman Gavin Seim already entered the race months ago.  Today Peck, who is a retired Air Force Officer and Newhouse will be also be on the show.
