Two people were injured in an ATV crash Thursday afternoon in the 18000 block of SR 410...Nile Fire Department officials responded...when they arrived they found ATV riders from the Enumclaw area who told them a rider and his passenger from their group were involved in an accident about a mile and a half up a forestry service road. They say the married couple in their mid 20s were riding in a side by side ATV when they drove into a small gully after being blinded by the dust of the riders in front of them. Their side by side went nose first and flipped over on its top and rolled.  The 24 year old female was transported to a local Yakima hospital by ambulance for minor injuries, while her 24 year old husband was airlifted to the same hospital for a head injury. Neither of the two involved were wearing helmets.
Both are expected to make a full recovery.
