Imagine this scenario: Thanksgiving just isn't the same since "person X" is no longer with us. (assume person X is grandma but it could be anyone - grand dad, aunt, uncle, etc.)

So you decide to do something about that. You decide to commission an electronic, artificial intelligence version of grandma!  Scientists say that just might be possible.

The Daily Mail reports Swedish scientists are looking for volunteers who are willing to offer up their dead relatives for a study that would use artificial intelligence (AI) to reconstruct their voices allowing them to communicate.

Time out for discussion- Is this Creepy or is it kinda Cool?

It does sound like something from a Sci-Fi movie plot, but these scientists aren't alone in considering it. Futurists also believe it's only a matter of time before technology becomes available that would, in effect, make people immortal.  Are you ready for that..for that..for that..for that..for that..         (Daily Mail)
