The Kitsap County sheriff's office says they have arrested a former student after he had reportedly made threats against Kingston High School.

The 18-year-old Kingston resident is being held in the Kitsap County Jail on bail of $200,000. He is being investigated for felony harassment and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The sheriff's office says authorities reported the young man who was expelled during the previous school year had said he was going to shoot up the school.

Witnesses also reported the young man had access to firearms and had displayed those weapons.

Detectives report they found a semi-automatic handgun in his car and another one in his parent's home.
