Are You Ready For Some Football?

The Yakima Valley Titans will be hosting their first 2011 year combine/tryouts on Sunday, March 27th, from noon to 3pm at the Eisenhower High School practice field. Cost is $50 per player.

The Yakima Valley Titans are part of the Northwest Junior College Football League.  This league was created to assist those young players who want to continue their football skills but due to various circumstances, were unable to move on to a 4 year university to play.  You must be 18 years old to play and enrolled in at least 5 core credits at an approved college, university or technical institution (YVCC, CWYU, UW, Perry Tech, City U, University of Phoenix, etc).

The Yakima Valley Titans recently announced their 2011 season Head Coach of Jim Porter.  Coach Porter has been in the valley for many  years, coaching football players from grid kids to high school level.    His assistant coach is Nick Muir.  Nick played high school ball, and recently has been a member of the Yakima Mavericks.  Along with 4 other coaches as part of the Team staff, they are excited to bring this opportunity to the valley.  For more information contact Jim Porter at: 509-580-0411 or email at jporter@yakimavalleytitans.com  They can also be found on facebook.
