NEW YORK (AP) — It's kinda-sorta like Uber — except it's for packages, not people. Amazon is testing a service that will see it enlist drivers to drop off its one-hour Prime Now packages. Like Uber, the service will have drivers use their own vehicles. Drivers will get paid between $18 and $25 an hour — but they will have to be at least 21 and pass a criminal background check as well as have their vehicles checked out. Drivers are being recruited in Seattle now — but the program is expected to roll into other cities soon.
