Theatre for Kids is just one of the camps Allied Arts will offer to Yakima children this summer.

An encounter with an Allied Arts drama class when he was a child led theatre teacher Michael Liddicoat onto a path he never imagined.

"In elementary school, I was a computer kid who read a lot and wanted to be an astronaut. And then Allied Arts brought a program to our school to teach us pantomime. I didn't even know that I loved theatre - until that experience. I was hooked," said Liddicoat.

Liddicoat will teach theatre skills to kids at four different Allied Arts camp sessions starting in June.

Some of the other camp sessions include  music, art and Shakespeare.
