Allied Arts Releases Spring Events Calendar

Films, exhibits and activities are all scheduled events for Allied Arts of Yakima Valley this spring.

Cindy Lamb and Wendy Warren will be at Gilbert Cellars tonight, Wednesday March 20th, 5:30-7:30pm, for a poetry encounter.  Free admission.

On Thursday, March 21st at 7pm, there will be showing the documentary” Boys in Peril“, free admission as well. Here is a short description of the movie:

“In an effort to better understand our dwindling college-bound American population, Los Angeles filmmaker Graham Streeter embeds himself in East Los Angeles, where he befriends Julio, Edgar, and Abel: three Latino high school seniors;  each attempting to navigate through the daunting and challenging transition between high school and college in their own unique ways.”

April 13th – ArtsVan will be at the Arboretum for Arbor Day.

April 18th – Award presentation of the Juried Poetry Contest

April 24th – Welcome to Berts Pub! 15% of all proceeds that day will go to Allied Arts.

April 28th – ArtsVan will be in Sherman Park .
