Yakima County Sheriff's deputies say they were able to make an arrest and recover a stolen tractor in the White Swan area Wednesday thanks to an alert caller. Deputies say many growers in the lower valley have been victims of theft over the past summer so deputies are thankful for the phone call. Deputies responded and located the vehicle pulling out of a driveway in the 3000 block of Barkes Road.  They also located a 2007 Ford Farm tractor on a trailer that was being towed by the suspicious vehicle.  The tractor, valued at about $15,000 had been reported stolen in June. The 24-year-old driver from White Swan was arrested and now faces a charge of possession of a stolen vehicle. He's being held in the Yakima County jail.
