A group of scientists have developed what they call the “sitting-rising test” and say it can give insight into how long a person will live. They found that people who scored three points or less out of 10 were more than five times as likely to die within six years as those who scored more than eight points.

Researchers explain that as we get older, our muscles tend to become weaker which increases the risk of falling. Before you freak out, keep in mind the test might not be accurate for people from all different cultures, as some cultures sit on the floor more regularly than others. (Daily Mail)
