A Powerhouse Project: 10 Deeds in 10 Days — Dave’s Diary

Lance looks over the menu and finds more than a few favorites -- and you will too when good food and good deeds get together

Wednesday morning at the Powerhouse Grill in Yakima.

Starting at 6, the Morning News with Dave & Lance will broadcast live from the Powerhouse Grill, inviting Yakima to stop by, enjoy a great meal and round up their bill for a cause.

In this case the cause is a project called 10 Deeds in 10 Days. Bill Harris Used Cars and Townsquare Media are again teaming up to raise food, cash and awareness to benefit Rod’s House, the Vet Center, the Selah Food Bank and the YWCA.

For 10 days the Powerhouse Grill will collect the change as customers round up to the nearest even dollar and add the money to the cache of cash and food we collect over the next 10 days with a poker run, grocery-bagging, a school food drive and more.
