A Possible Zaephel Stadium Extreme Makeover Discussed on the Mike Bastinelli Show [AUDIO]

The Yakima School District’s Zaephel Stadium at Eisenhower High School sees a lot of use as a venue for both Eisenhower and Davis Football, regional track meets, and community events. All of this use takes a toll, and the aging facility was a point for discussion on Friday’s Mike Bastinelli show.
The Yakima coaches association and the booster clubs of Davis and Eisenhower High Schools will hold a public community forum to propose a vision for Yakima’s Zaepfel Stadium. Eisenhower track and cross country coach Phil English was a guest on Friday’s Mike Bastinelli show. He talked about funding problems, the stadium’s condition, what upgrades are needed, and how the community could possibly make that happen.
