(say working out, dieting, etc,)  make sure you get a good night’s sleep!According to new findings, poor sleeping habits actually make people more impulsive and inattentive -- and wreaks havoc on their decision-making abilities. After 15 years on morning radio I think I can attest to that!

It can also lead to health problems, including weight gain and high blood pressure. Sadly I can attest to that too!

The co-author of the new study out of Clemson University in South Carolina says: “Exercising self-control allows one to make better choices when presented with conflicting desires and opportunities. That has far-reaching implications to a person's career and personal life.”
