What do you get Mom for Mother's Day when she can buy ANYTHING she wants!?

Reporting on Bill Gates, Microsoft, Apple and other tech giants all these years has certainly demonstrated the proposition that high tech equals high pay.  That explains the the multi-million dollar smile on this extremely successful businesswoman and mom.

She is Angela Ahrendts, who left as CEO of Burberry to take over the job of vice president of retail and online stores at Apple.  So if Apple is the richest company in the world it stands to reason Ms Ahrendts would pull down a pretty substantial paycheck. In fact she was the highest-paid woman in the U.S. last year, according to a Bloomberg analysis that said she earned $82.4 million in 2014.

Time says that in addition to being in charge of the Apple Stores, Ahrendts has been instrumental in the Apple Watch's rollout.  She is a married mother of three.

Further corroborating evidence for why you should have gone into computer science is that second place on the highest-paid women's list was Oracle Chief Financial Officer Safra Catz, who earned $71.2 million, and Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, who made $59.1 million.

And while we are tech-talking google has revealed that more searches are being done on smartphones than on personal computers for the first time in the U.S. Because of the ongoing move to mobile, last month Google changed its search-recommendation system to favor websites that are easier to read and load on smartphones.
