69 Year Old Woman Arrested For Attempted Stabbing

A 69 year old woman is in the county jail this morning after police say she tried to cut the throat of a 21 year old man with a razor knife at the Brookside funeral home in Moxee at about 6:30 Wednesday night. The female suspect was taken into custody at the funeral home and the knife was recovered. The victim was not injured. The suspect faces a charge of first degree assault. No word on why the woman tried to assault the man.
