A 4-year-old girl is being treated at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after falling from window at the Cascade Apartments at North First Street and Staff Sergeant Pendleton Way Sunday night. Police spokesman Mike Bastinelli says the girl is being treated for life threatening injuries. He tells KIT News. "It appears the girl wandered into a vacant apartment and fell out the window on the 4th floor." Bastinelli says the girl lived in the building with her father and grandmother and walked into the vacant apartment by herself Sunday night. Police do not believe there's any criminal intent or foul play that resulted in the fall.
The girl remains in critical but stable condition at Seattle's Harborview Medical Center. The fall was reported at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
