28th Annual Peace March This Monday to Honor MLK Jr.

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and in Yakima the annual Peace March in downtown is set to start at noon. It's the 28th annual march in Yakima to honor the former civil rights leader. The march starts at N. 6th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The march will end at the Yakima Convention Center where a special program is planned to start at 1pm. After the program a special soup kitchen will happen at the Southeast Community Center.
