26th Annual Winter Carnival This Weekend

The 26th annual winter carnival is set for this weekend at the white pass ski area on Highway 12. White Pass spokesperson Kathleen Goyette says the highlight is the snow castle now being built in front of the main lodge. Goyette says it’s the largest snow castle in the United States.

Kids can climb on and tube down the castle.the event kicks off Saturday morning with live music and a fireworks show Saturday night. Winter Carnival continues on Sunday as well...and it's all free. For a list of events and to watch the castle being built go to skiwhitepass.com.
