They don’t call it the “GOOD BOOK” for nuthin’!  We Americans know our Bible. According to a national survey, about 71.8 million people in the U.S. read the sacred text every week. The poll, conducted by the Barna Group, found that 47% of Americans weekly seek biblical inspiration, insight and education. Furthermore, 91% of American homes own a Bible while the average household is home to four Bibles. Nearly 2000 years after Jesus walked the earth, Americans still buy about 25 million Bibles a year –and yes, that is more than a best-selling Harry Potter book.
