Yakima has a new tool to help fight the gang problem.  Yakima's Gang Free Initiative has partnered with the 211 system which is operated by Yakima's People for People.  Right now 211 is an information line which acts as a clearinghouse for information about Yakima and Yakima County. Now , it's also a clearinghouse for information about gangs.  Stacy Kellog, the Operation's Manager for the Greater Columbia 211says the calls at first will be anonymous. She says "any concerned person can call 211 and they can ask for more information about gang prevention and intervention."  Kellogg also says "A concerned neighbor, a concerned family member, a youth that's concerned with becoming involved in gangs or is already involved in gangs can call 211,"
