Two Died In Rollover Near Toppenish

At 3:50 a.m. on May 20, 25-year-old Filiberto Gil and 18-year-old Alberto Mendez swerved to the right of North Track Road near Toppenish and hit a telephone pole. The two men were not wearing seat belts and were thrown from the 2006 Dodge Magnum. Washington State Patrol is not sure which man was driving the vehicle. Both men died at the scene of the crash.
