If you work on a computer this Monday, make sure you check for malware that may have infected your system and could bar you from the internet. "Malware," short for malicious software, infected tens of thousands of computers more than a year ago, and on Monday it's expected to block thousands more people from going online. John Riggs, digital managing editor for Town Square Media in Yakima, says there's an easy fix: You'll find a link to free Anti-Malware software at newstalkkit.com.

According to the FBI, despite repeated alerts, the number of computers that are likely infected is more than 277,000 worldwide, down from about 360,000 in April.  Of those still infected, the FBI believes that about 64,000 are in the United States. The malware is expected to hit thousands of computers across the nation on Monday.
