10 Deeds in 10 Days – How You Can Help Those In Need In Yakima

We are living in tough times and it’s up to all of us to help one another. We’ve teamed up with Bill Harris Used Cars and our community to help fill our food banks and give to those in need. Here’s how you can help.

All of our Townsquare radio stations are doing something called ’10 Deeds in 10 Days’. We’ll do 10 days worth of deeds in the Yakima valley to help raise food and money for Rod’s House, YWCA and Selah Food Bank. Then, on November 17th, our DJs and staff will help Bill Harris Used Cars distribute the food to the food banks.

Here are the deeds:

November 5th, 107.3 KFFM will start it’s school food drive. Children are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to school to be donated. The school that donated the most will ‘own’ 107.3 for the day.
November 7th, We’ll be at the Safeway on 1st and Mead bagging groceries for tips.
November 8th through November 11th, Gunner Jackson from 92.9 The Bull will be ‘living on the Mayflower’. A Mayflower truck will be parked at Wray’s on 56th and Summitview collecting food while Gunner Jackson will be living on top of that truck, non-stop, for those days. Read more >>
November 10th, there will be a Veterans Bike Ride
November 12th, Twinky from 107.3 KFFM will be doing a ‘Twinkie Drive’ collecting Twinkies and other snacks and food for the kids. Read more >>
